Anat Halgoa Solomon
Co-Founder and CEO
Prior to co-founding Saturas, Anat served as CEO of Veolia Water in Israel and VP at Global Environmental Solutions. She has extensive business development experience in both the cleantech and water industries in Israel and abroad including mergers and acquisitions.
Anat has also provided both business and personal coaching at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Anat holds an MA in Organizational Development from the Israeli College of Management Academic Studies and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Moshe Meron, PhD
Co-Founder and Inventor
Moshe is a world-renowned expert in agricultural science, with specialization in precision agriculture; he serves as Head of the Crop Ecology Laboratory, Migal, at the Galilee Research Institute. He has developed methods for fruit and field crop irrigation, nutrition monitoring and scheduling, and introduction of Information Technologies in agriculture.
Moshe is a graduate of the Hebrew University Faculty of Agriculture and holds a PhD in Soil Science from the University of California, Davis.
Anat Tsour Segal
Chairwoman of the board
Ms. Tsour Segal is adviser to Consensus Business Group, a large-scale London based family office, with a vast portfolio of funds and companies.
Ms. Tsour Segal served as the CEO of Capital Nature, an investment company operating a technological incubator, and was founder and CEO of Xenia Venture Capital, a publicly traded investment company (TASE) and a technological incubator based in Israel. Prior to founding Xenia, Ms. Tsour Segal led her independent consulting and investment banking practice, serving as a banker and strategic adviser for dozens of companies.
Ms. Tsour Segal holds a BA in Economics and Management, MBA and L.L.B. from the Tel Aviv University.
Igal Aisenberg
Senior Business Advisor
Igal has vast experience in the irrigation industry as former President & CEO of Netafim, a world-leading irrigation company. Prior to that, Igal was the CEO of Netafim USA and board member of the US Irrigation Association.
Avishai Avni, PhD
VP, Chief Agronomist
Avishai is Saturas’ chief agronomist and leads the R&D team. He managed the field trials in the northern region of Israel at Tapazol Ltd., an agro-chemical company.
Avishai holds a PhD in plant molecular biology from the Technion (2016); an MSc in agriculture from the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew University (2008) and a BSc in agriculture from the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew University (2006). Avishai’s PhD thesis focuses on various aspects of stress responses in plants.
Mark Gengrinovitch
VP R&D
Mark leads Saturas’ scale-up manufacturing process and the establishment of a new manufacturing facility. Mark has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and executive in mechanical design & production engineering, robotics, biotechnology, and corporate management. He has wide experience in planning, designing and building large operations and start-ups.
Mark holds a BSc in mechanical engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and an LLB in Law from The Ono Academic Center.
Yariv Erez
Head of North America operations
Yariv is a goal-oriented and results-driven Senior Business Development Expert, specializes in commercialization of agro-technology projects. Yariv brings with him over 20 years of experience in international agriculture business & trade. Ensures integration of secondary data insights with primary market research insights to inform business decisions. Skilled in project actualization from the ground up; starting with business plans, through market research and ending with project implementation. Yariv holds BA from Ruppin Academic Center and he is a Certified Mediator. Yariv enjoys weekends and holidays with his family and his Yamaha Ténéré 700 motorbike.
